Premio EARTH
(Second edition)




Visual asset and catalogue design of the second edition of EARTH Prize curated by Giulia Adami for EARTH Foundation.




In the contemporary world, sustainability becomes transversal, takes unexpected forms, and speaks several languages.

Earth Foundation, in collaboration with illycaffè, issued a challenge to artists under 40, proposing to confront the broad meaning of sustainability through an artistic proposal that tells the different points of view on the complex theme of the relationship between man and the ecosystem.
Olga Komanidze, Lara Dâmaso Rodrigues, and Alice Capelli designate the body and language as privileged tools of contact with the environment; Vittoria Mazzonis, Lorenzo Zerbini, Adam Bialek, and Francesco Pacelli express the relationship between natural and artificial elements through the creation of objects with ancestral and hybrid forms, Judith Neunhäuserer, Lucia Simone and Francesca Macis address the complexity of environmental protection with different mediums, but with the common goal of undermining human indifference to environmental emergencies. These insights create a dense network of reflections on today's issues and problems we face as inhabitants and guests of the Earth.



The catalog, published by E.ART.H. Editions and printed by SiZ Industria Grafica on the occasion of the exhibition, follows the exhibition itinerary and explores its contents with a particular focus on sustainability.
